Is PlayYourCup free to play?
Yes — completely. There's no purchase, no subscription, and no way to spend real money inside the game. You earn coins by playing and spend them on player cards and energy; coins are virtual, non-cash, and can't be bought or withdrawn.
Is this gambling or betting?
No. PlayYourCup is a free, no-stakes game of skill. You never wager money, there are no odds-as-stakes, and you can't win or lose cash. Predictions earn points, and clashes earn coins and trophies — all of which stay inside the game as bragging rights. There are no deposits, no cash-outs, and no betting language anywhere.
How do predictions and points work?
Each match opens a card of markets — final result, scoreline, goals, scorers and more — 24 hours before kickoff, and they lock five minutes before it starts. You back each pick with Low, Medium or High confidence: High pays roughly double, but a wrong High costs you points, so it's a real decision. Near misses on banded markets still earn partial points. When the match settles, your points climb the Game Oracle leaderboard and also mint coins.
What is a Squad Clash?
It's the head-to-head mode. You build an eleven from player cards you own and send it into a three-minute, server-decided match against a rival of similar strength. Win and you bank coins and trophies and climb the Squad League. Every clash drains your squad's energy, so you can play two or three before resting, rotating, or refilling.
What are coins, cred and trophies?
Coins are the currency you spend on players and energy, earned from clashes, prediction points and your idle stadium. Cred is a 0–999 reputation score based on how accurate and active your predictions are. Trophies are won from clashes and rank you on the Squad League. Only coins are spendable; cred and trophies are measures of achievement.
Do I need an account to play?
You can browse fixtures, previews and guides without signing in. To build a squad, clash, or save predictions you sign in with Google — it takes a moment and unlocks your wallet, your squad, and your place on the leaderboards.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. PlayYourCup is a mobile-first web app that installs to your home screen and works on low-end Android and iOS. There's nothing to download from an app store — open the site, sign in, and play.
Where do the match previews and reports come from?
Our match previews and post-match reports are written for each fixture using the teams' form, the stage, venue and a deterministic win-projection model, then published on the articles page. They're original to PlayYourCup and free to read.
Is my data safe, and can I delete my account?
We collect the minimum needed to run the game and ask for clear consent. You can delete your account and data at any time from your profile. See our Privacy Policy and Content Policy, linked in the footer, for the full detail.
